Writing and public speaking have excited Kristen since she was a kid.
She started her career in television news working for stations in Iowa, Georgia and Florida. She reported, anchored, produced and wrote copy for websites. Many of her stories made the headlines internationally and she has received many prestigious industry award: The Edward R. Murrow award and an award from the Associated Press to name just a few. In addition, her work was featured on CNN, CNN Headline News and Fox News.
At Spectrum she’s expanded her skill set to producing, writing, corporate videos, web hosting, website writing, voice-overs and documentaries.

She is married to Juan and has two children, Daniel and Dianne. When she’s not working or taking care of the family she enjoys sewing and exercising.
